My name is Jessica, nice to meet you!

Illustration and art have been my biggest passions since I was very young—summers were filled with trips to the Saint Louis Art Museum with my mom and older brother, and I filled hundreds of sketchbooks, lovingly crafted by my dad from scrap paper every morning. That passion has carried me through life’s ups and downs like a loyal friend.

I studied Studio Art in college, earned my Baccalaureate in 2014, and have been freelancing professionally since in the pursuit of my dream to become an illustrator for children’s literature.

Though I grew up in southern Illinois, Texas is where I now call home, alongside my loving husband and our corgi.

Endless fields of cattle and great big skies are the landscape of my life, but the landscape of my heart is filled with the bluffs, forests, flora and fauna along the Mississippi River, many of which you may find reflected in my illustrations.
